Saturday’s highlight was the ‘legendary Mercury Rev‘ who performed the whole of their album Deserter’s Songs which was released in 1998 and named ‘Album of the Year’ by the NME. This beautiful album contains some of my favourite Mercury Rev songs, Goddess on the Hiway, and Holes, and was a UK festival exclusive.
